Children are as playful as they could be; they would bump into things and objects. They would even rearrange stuff including their toys. Parents and guardians would often have to arrange what their children rearrange and this is not an easy thing to do at all what with all the other household chores and duties they have to attend to.

We have to arrange our children's toys for we might step on these or we could accidentally damage them. The basic move that we should comply with is to keep them organized. It would provide a much cleaner and organized living room plus it would also decrease the risk of creating freak accidents caused by toys. Some toys may even be temporarily and permanently lost due to how disorganized it may be.

We should organize our children's toys for our very own comfort. It is not that difficult to organize those toys. If several day care centers could manage it, why couldn't we? Here are some tips and guidelines on how to organize your children's toys.

• Go to a local store and look for cheap containers that you can use as a storage bin for your children's toys. You don't have to spend much; you can buy cheap and affordable containers as toy storages. Buy around four to six containers; look for the cheaper and durable types. Just make sure your that your containers don't have sharp edges and that these are non-hazardous.

• Sort out the toys into groups and place them inside the containers. It would also be much better to label those containers accordingly. For example, label the container as stuff toys with the stuffed animal toys in it. Segregate those toys to help you keep your children's toys organized.

• Throw away toys that are damaged or broken. If you find and encounter any broken toys along the way, it would be much better to throw them out immediately. Those broken toys could add up and become stored junk if you wouldn't throw them out as soon as you could.

• Place the most frequently used set of toys near the children's playroom. The most played toys should be within easy reach for them so that they wouldn't find it a hard time looking for such. It would also be more advantageous on your part for the reason that the children wouldn't have to scramble to look for their favorite toys.

• Slowly move the least used toys to unreachable or farther places. Most children would forget those seldom used toys and focus more on the newer and favorite toys. Just move those toys to a farther location until your children would completely forget them. Once they do, transfer them in a storage location such as the attic or basement. But don't throw them away; you can still use those toys in the near future.

• Teach your kids how to organize and store the toys by themselves and give them rewards after they accomplish it. You can reward them with a piece of candy, a chocolate bar or anything that could make kids happy. Through this method, your children learn to be organized and you instill discipline.
